Little Falls Dedicates New Old Town Hall Plaza as Restoration of Historic Landmark Continues

The Little Falls Historical Society dedicated the newly completed front plaza at Old Town Hall on Independence Day, marking another milestone in the ongoing restoration of one of the township's most historic buildings.

Originally constructed in the early 1900s, Old Town Hall served as Little Falls' municipal building for decades before township offices relocated. Rather than allowing the historic structure to fall into disrepair, the Little Falls Historical Society partnered with the township to preserve and restore the building, with plans to transform it into a community and cultural destination while maintaining its historic character.

The restored building will become much more than a historic landmark. Plans call for Old Town Hall to house a Morris Canal Visitor Center, museum, museum shop, art center and community gathering space that will serve residents and visitors alike. (TAPinto Totowa, published 7/4/2026)
